    As a Financial Advisor at Lakeland Bank Financial Services/Raymond James, you are responsible for providing comprehensive financial planning and advice to help individuals and families pursue their finance goals. You will work one-on-one with clients to develop individually tailored financial plans comprised of personalized investment products and brokerage services including wealth management, insurance, and trust services. Your objective is to provide clients ongoing assistance through services and products, to assist them accumulate wealth and safeguard their assets.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Meet with clients to develop an investment and risk profile requisite for sales of NDIPs. Based on analysis of client's investment and risk profile recommend suitable NDIPs.
    • Process buy and sell orders of securities held by clients of the bank.
    • Provide investment advisory services through the use of client profiles and financial plans.
    • Maintain client files in accordance with FINRA.
    • Coach branch employees to foster qualified referrals of bank clients.
    • Work existing book of business to cross sell insurance and other NDIPs.
    • Staying current with new investment products and market trends
    • Attend business calls with Branch Managers and Lending Officers.
    • Conducting productive networking and prospecting in the community
    • Coordinate 401k plan reviews with product manager.
    • Ability to meet and exceed sales goals.
    • Attend Branch Investment Days and after hours events




    • Demonstrates ability to generate production through customer needs. Possess a “Client First” selling approach at all times.
    • Knowledgeable in accounting, marketing, business administration and finance.
    • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred; Master's degree or related professional certification a plus. Minimum of 2-3 years of Sales experience in the business industry
    • Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions in person-to-person and small group situations with customers, clients and general public
    • Ability to create teams and partnership throughout the bank; develop branch employees to refer financial services to drive business
    • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
    • Holds FINRA Series 7 or Series 65 and 66 plus New Jersey Life and Health licenses.
    • LFS is a member of protocol
    • Working knowledge of technology and software planning tools sufficient to analyze and report financial data
    • Must be bondable

    Employment Eligibility

    All Lakeland Bank employees must be bondable.  FBI background checks are required to confirm eligibility for bonding.
